Entertaining Angels

Can God be trusted to do anything right at all? Or is the whole thing a “divine exercise in trial and error”?
As a clergy wife, Grace has spent a lifetime on her best behaviour. By her own count, she’s poured two hundred thousand cups of tea, made four thousand six hundred quiches and baked two tonnes of light crust pastry. Now, following the death of her husband, she is enjoying the new-found freedom to do and say exactly as she pleases.
But complications are just around the corner as Grace’s eccentric missionary sister returns with some disturbing revelations. Grace is forced to confront the memory of her husband and the truth of their marriage whilst the new vicar reveals some very un-clergy-like credentials.
A very English comedy that’s profound, absorbing and thoroughly entertaining.
