Three couples … Two houses … One Stage …
Be amused … Be very amused!

Three couples linked by a common workplace. An affair
providing more links, and a series of misunderstandings
and wrong assumptions. Sounds like fairly standard
fare for a British comedy farce. Get Alan Ayckbourn to
write it, set it in two houses simultaneously on the same
stage and all of a sudden you have something a cut
above the ordinary.
Ayckbourn again takes delight in exploiting those subtle
differences in status in the British middle class and
masterfully exploits both time and space to create a
very clever wickedly funny classic.
