The fabled tale of an errant Spanish knight and his trusty sidekick, on a madcap mission to restore the golden age of chivalry and to claim the heart of his beloved Dulcinea, has been brought to the stage by Australia’s great larrikin wordsmith, Larry Buttrose.
Castle Hill Players is proud to kick off Season 2014 with the big cast world premiere of Miguel Cervantes’ much loved story – with over forty characters, a horse, a mule, lances, windmills, swordplay and fisticuffs, as well as two of the most famous characters in literature; Sancho Panza and the Man from La Mancha himself, Don Quixote.
This theatrical spectacular (almost too big for the Pavilion Stage!) promises to be an epic adventure of laughs and gasps for the whole family.
