The completely fabricated and wildly funny story
of how Gone With the Wind became an
Oscar winning screenplay

Hollywood, 1939. Legendary producer David O.
Selznick owns the hottest literary property of the day:
Gone with the Wind. He loves it. He knows in his bones
he can make movie magic. Trouble is, he’s the only
one who believes it. With time running out he’s got no
script, no director, he’s losing thousands of dollars a
day, the cast is threatening to quit and his movie mogul
father-in-law wants to pull the plug. What’s a producer
to do? Only one thing: find another scriptwriter, another
director, and lock all three of them into his office for five
days to find the magic… or die in the attempt.

Moonlight and Magnolia is a behind-the-scenes
extravaganza of Hollywood at its best: daring,
desperate, and hysterically funny.
