Welcome to Los Angeles in the 60s. The space race is in full swing, folk music dominates the airwaves, and the beat generation is yet to be replaced by free-loving hippies. The first Boomers are staring down adulthood – armed with critical thinking, youthful awkwardness, and confusion over the world they are inheriting.

In Pasadena, Benjamin Braddock arrives home from college and tries to break away from the path his parents have laid for him. Enter Mrs Robinson, a married and much older friend of the family, who instigates an affair with the impressionable Braddock. This ends disastrously when Benjamin’s amorous focus switches to Elaine, the Robinsons’ daughter.

A delightful yet searing comedy of mismatches and generational divisions, of acceptance of social norms versus following your instincts. With a tune or two from the era thrown in, The Graduate, based on the novel by Charles Webb and the classic 1967 film, is bound to knock your socks off.

Here’s to you Mrs Robinson!

Note: this production contains mild nudity.
