Tired of the demands and pressures of her acting career, the famous Myra Marlowe rents a house in the tiny hamlet of Beaver Haven to write her autobiography.

What Myra hadn’t expected was a near constant stream of nosy, omnipresent neighbours. In a bid to gain her privacy Myra invents a mad, homicidal sister – who occasionally escapes long enough to scare off the uninvited visitors.

When the local axe-wielding handyman develops an affection for “Sister Sadie” at the same time as the local ladies decide it is their Christian duty to save the poor demented Sadie’s soul, madness ensues. Adding to the chaos, the Sheriff is brought in to investigate a suspected murder and Myra must think quickly to avoid being arrested!

There are lots of laughs to be had as the uproarious shenanigans of Myra and her Beaver Haven neighbours play out.
