We're Back for 2021

We’re Back for 2021

Posted on Posted in Backstage

Welcome back! It has been a year like no other but your wish to return to our auditorium is only matched by our desire to get back on the Pavilion Theatre stage. We are pleased to present for 2021, the remaining five plays of our cancelled 2020 season starting with Things I Know To Be True by Andrew Bovell. Finishing off the year is our new offering, Unnecessary Farce by Paul Slade Smith.

Under current restrictions we are only allowed 50% houses so booking, pricing and seating arrangements have been made to accommodate running our theatre in a safe manner. Tickets to our 2021 season are $25 for general admission, equal to our 2020 concession price. As we would need to be prepared to cancel at short notice should COVID restrictions require, we are unable to offer any subscription packages for 2021. The good news is, we will offer all our subscribers from 2019 and 2020 a special ticket price of $20 which is close to our usual subscription cost or better. At this point we are unable to offer walk up tickets at the door and all tickets will need to be pre-booked online or by phone.

Bookings for each play will open 2 months before that play’s opening night. Please keep in mind there will be spacing between individuals and couples in order to comply with Public Health Safety Guidelines.

Where possible at this stage we would like your cooperation in congregating less in our foyer. This means moving through the foyer to be seated before the show and leaving promptly after the performance. Following our COVID-19 safety plan will keep all of us safe and keep our theatre open as a COVID-safe venue.

Each person attending will need to check in by supplying their contact details, and hand sanitizer is available from 2 stands in our foyer. Wearing of masks in the auditorium is not mandatory but masks will be worn by our front of house volunteers.

Thank you for your patience during this challenging year and for your cooperation whilst we work through these challenges in the year ahead. We are eager to see you back at The Pavilion and hope these restrictions will not deter you from once again enjoying the quality theatre experience we have in store.

We look forward to seeing you soon at the Pavilion
