Two masters. Two wages. Two dinners. Too right!
As long as they don’t wake up to it!”

Truffaldino is starving! Having just arrived in Venice,
he is unaware that his master is actually his master’s
sister, Beatrice, disguised as her brother, who is in fact
dead. Truffaldino decides he can make double wages
by signing on to work for a second master, Florindo,
whom he meets by chance and keep the plan a secret.
But! He doesn’t know Florindo is actually Beatrice’s
fiancé, who has killed her brother – betrothed to Clarice –
in a duel. And now Clarice’s haughty maid, Smeraldina,
has fallen for Truffaldino on sight!
Ribald comedy, breakneck slapstick, a bit of singing and
dancing, a dash of fish juggling and knowing asides!
Expect the unexpected as this 18th-century farce is
yanked by its forelock into present-day Sydney.
